Greetings All,
Surgery Update:
I just wanted to give an update that all went well during the surgery yesterday and I was sent home a few hours after the procedure. I’m in minimal pain without meds so I can’t complain.
Spine Scan + Other Scans:
I’ve been experiencing a lot of pain on one side of my body despite the long acting morphine they have given me to control some tumor pain I’ve been having on the other side of my body. Tumor pain is intense!!! This has prompted for an MRI of my thoracic spine tomorrow, Wednesday 2/28. They will be looking for more tumors there that may explain the pain. Fingers crossed that they don’t find anything but I have to be honest that I won’t be surprised if tumors show up.
I will also have two more scans of my chest and abdomen in early March to see if the chemo I just tried for the last 2 months or so have shrunk the tumors we know about or not.
I’ll keep you all updated from scan world.
